There was some debate over which moment to share, but we simply chose ‘happiest’ for our own well-being - by focusing on our happier moments and on protecting our wellbeing we can survive the harder days. ( and when you have teens there can be quite a few of those!)
One of my happiest moments was a pretty simple one. Sitting in a cafe with my Mum who was visiting from NZ and my newborn daughter was sitting on my knee looking up at me with SUCH adoration and love I MELTED (newborn hormones so I may have also cried) ! When I’m feeling crappy, I think about this and it always makes me smile.
